- How many people does your wedding venue accommodate?
280 is our max
- Can I hold my wedding ceremony as well as the reception at the venue?
Yes! about 85% of our weddings hold ceremony onsite as well! We do not host ceremony-only bookings.
- What is your rental fee?
We have different fees depending on the day of the event, but for weddings for 2020: Friday $1800, Saturdays/Holidays $3200, Sundays $1200. Ceremony fee: $800. 2019 is booked for all Saturdays and most Fridays. If you're still looking for a Sunday 2019 space, check our website for availability!
- How much is the deposit and when is it due?
The deposit is the full room rental amount. This is due in order to book your date with us, and you sign the contract in tandem to book the date.
- What is your cancellation policy?
If the client cancels the scheduled event, the liquidated damages due to Vue are 100% of the room rental fee. However, if the Client cancels the date and Vue is able to resell that date at full retail value, the Client will be refunded 90% of the room rental fee. If a cancellation occurs and Vue is at fault, 100% of the rental fee will be refunded to the client. There are no exceptions to this policy.
- How long will I have to use the event space I've reserved?
Standard reception only weddings are a 5hr booking. Ceremony + reception is 6hrs. You can also add an extra event hour depending on the evening. Our latest guest departure is midnight.
- Is the food catered in or is it done in house?
We work with 3 esteemed, full service caterers! You are only permitted to choose from one of these caterers.
- Are tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware and glassware provided?
66" round dining tables and white resin folding chairs are provided by Vue. Linens, plates, silverware, and disposable barware are all provided through your caterer.
- Can I bring in my own alcoholic beverages?
Vue is BYOB for all weddings. Your caterer will also staff the bar.
- Are you licensed to provide alcohol service? If so, is alcohol priced per person or by consumption?
Vue does not hold a liquor license.
- What is your weather contingency plan for outdoor spaces?
We can only accommodate about 40 people in our lower patio for an outdoor ceremony. The rain plan would be any one of our 3 indoor rooms.
- Does your facility have a bridal room and groom room to allow the wedding parties to prepare themselves?
We have a loft area which the couple and wedding party are welcome to use for preparations and hanging out! We do not have 2 separate spaces, however. We find that most couples get ready well before arriving onsite.
- Can I move things around and decorate to suit my purposes or does everything need to remain as is?
We pride ourselves on being a customizable and creative space and we love carrying that into weddings! We always go into each event knowing where all decor and furniture will be arranged so that we don't have any surprises day of. We talk through all of these details in your final meeting with Vue and your caterer!
- Do you have restrictions on what kind of music I can play or a time in which the music must end?
You can play whatever music gets you hyped up on your wedding day! We do not have a noise ordinance, but all music must be stopped at or before your guest departure time.
- Does your venue provide on-site parking?
We rent parking from a lot that is right behind our building. 6 months before your event, if the lot is available on your date, you can opt to reserve this for a $150 flat rate. Parking options and rates are subject to change up until the date of your event. Vue provides signage and directions for parking day-of
- Is the site handicap accessible?
Yes. Parking for handicap persons or others that need onsite parking is available in the front driveway at Vue (next to the handicap ramp to front entrance).
- Does your venue have liability insurance in the event that someone is injured during the event?
No.
- Do you have signage or other aids to direct guests to my event?
Yes.
- Do you have a recycling policy?
We encourage all guests to use our recycling bins which are accessible for each and every event.
